Nadia Affolter

Nadia Affolter is an American-Austrian actor and singer-songwriter based in Glasgow. Having grown up across the United States, Europe, Africa and the Middle East, she brings a distinctive international perspective to her work.

Nadia trained with the Atlantic Theater Company and the Children’s Theatre Company in New York City. Her television credits include TOM CLANCY'S JACK RYAN, NEW AMSTERDAM and THE BLACKLIST. Most recently, she starred in the SAG-AFTRA short film HEAVEN WILL WAIT.

Alongside acting, Nadia is a professional singer-songwriter and live performer, fronting her band under the artist name ASCHARI. She has performed at Carnegie Hall and for the Obama Foundation, and plays piano, guitar and basic drums.

Nadia is fluent in English and German and speaks conversational Farsi with strong comprehension. Her accents include General American, German and Persian. Her additional skills include songwriting, live band performance and volleyball.

Nadia holds American and Austrian passports and is eligible to work throughout the United States and European Union
