Red MacAninch

Red MacAninch has been a member of Edinburgh Youth Theatre since she was  8 years old.

With a talent for authentic and truthful performances, Red excels in emotionally raw characters. Her range extends to comedic roles and she has a passion for devising and creating her own work.

Although she has yet to work professionally, Red has starred in local productions of LOST LEAR (Daniel Colley), A MEMORY OF WATER, ANNIE JNR. (Edinburgh Fringe) and alongside award winning comedian Gareth Mutch in SNOW WHITE AND THE SEVEN DWARVES.

Red has a natural Edinburgh accent but as a versatile young actor  in addition to RPand standard American she excels with a variety of regional accents.

Red is an accomplished Netball player and has played at competitive district level and is now a coach.
